Hi team,

I was about to test a restoration of a site on my local test server. I have used Akeeba Backup Pro. Restoration worked fine. However, I got an error message when trying to remove the installation directory automatically. Would like to understand why that happens and I appreciate any tips on how to solve that issue in the future.

I am attaching the akeeba logfile as well as the error message.

Thank you

Isabelle

Is that site on Windows?

Did the installation folder get removed despite the message?

Hi,

I use Mac.

As I am saying it is just a local test with MAMP. Where can I check whether the folder has been  uninstalled?

Check if the folder named installation in your site's root has been removed or not.

As to where MAMP stores your site's files. If you are using MAMP Pro consult its interface; each site can be stored anywhere you tell it to. If you are using the free version of MAMP, their documentation says that the sites are stored under /Applications/MAMP/htdocs on your Mac.
