Hello friends,

I am trying to restore backup file which is three years old, and I got error. Wordpress files are restored, but there isn't any table in database.

Please help!

Not only it's a three year old backup, it's also a much older version of Akeeba Backup which does not support PHP 8 — the error you get indicates a PHP 8 incompatibility.

Go to your hosting control panel and choose PHP version 7.3. This should let you continue with the restoration.

This means that the database connection information is wrong. It's not something that has to do with your version of PHP.

Remember, you need to create the database and the database user before restoration. Moreover, you have to make sure that the database user has full access to the database, including the ability to create tables.
