Hi team,
I try to restore a site to a local Wampp installation.
Installation files are placed in D:\wamp\www\sun-solar
The error I get during site extraction is:
Could not open D:/wamp/www/sun-solar/wp-includes/D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\sun-solar.nl\logs\php_errors\sun-solar.nl\php_error.log for writing.
OS: Windows 11
Wampp: 3.2.6 64 bit
Thanks for help in advance.
Your live server had an unfortunately named file (D:\appdata\IIS\vhosts\sun-solar.nl\logs\php_errors\sun-solar.nl\php_error.log
which is a valid name on Linux where the colon and the backslash have no special meaning).
The only way to extract this file is to check the “Ignore most errors” box in Kickstart (under Select An Extraction Method). This is the use case it's meant for.
Remember to clean up your live site from this kind of badly named files to make your life easier in the future.
