Hello Nicholas,

I have successfully installed a wp site with EC2 but find Lightsail so much easier so this will be about Lightsail.

Anyway, I wanted to clone a site I had on a different host and uploaded a backup .jpa file into the root wordpress directory in lightsail. I used kickstart.php to help restore the backup on the new domain. Everything was pretty much smooth sailing towards the end until data replacement:

Database error #1062 with message “Duplicate entry 'wp_force_deactivated_plugins' for key 'option_name'” when trying to run SQL command UPDATE `wp_options` SET `option_name` = 'wp_force_deactivated_plugins' WHERE (`option_id` = '98')

I'm not sure how to proceed from here.    Thank you!

Hello,

during the database restoration step you can tell ANGIE (the restoration script) to ignore SQL errors. Please check that option and try again, you should receive a warning, but the restoration should complete.
