Hello,

I've read similar tickets regarding this issue, but im wondering if mine is different, or if you could walk me through what i need to be doing. I'm not a super expert on this.

I'm trying to restore a backup on a subdomain. I did it already a couple of days ago and it worked perfectly fine. However, since i'm doing a migration from joomla 3.10 to joomla 4, in the process of doing that, it gave an error because of a plugin and i wiped the site to start again. When I tried to restore the same set of files it gave me this error: Invalid header in archive file, part 4, offset 746815055.

The site is quite massive so it isn't until hours go by that we get to the same error.

Can you help?

Hello,

just to be sure, did you upload all the parts that make the backup? First of all I'd suggest to check the option "Ignore most errors" in Kickstart.

Then, you could enable the debug mode in kickstart. Open the kickstart.php file and search for the string KS_DEBUG. Remove the two slashes in front of it, save the file and try again.

The extraction will fail again, but a debug file will be created. Please zip it and attach it here, so we can review what's happening.
