Hi, I have just migrated my first site from Joomla3 to Joomla4. I did the migration on a different server using a testing domain name, and then attempted to restore to the actual host using Kickstart 7.1.0Pro, therefore making the site live.
However, when the destination hosting account is running PHP 8.0.12, and when the archive file is hosted on Amazon S3, the "Import" screen does not progress at all, it just sits there doing nothing for minutes on end. Note that the connection to Amazon S3 was fine, it listed all my buckets, and I was able to select the bucket/directory/jpa file to import from.
The backup on the originating site was done using Joomla 4.0.4, Akeeba 9.0.8 Pro, on PHP8.0.12.
I have been able to restore the site successfully by changing the PHP version on the destination hosting back to PHP 7.4.25, when this is done the "Import" screen progresses through the importing of file(s) normally.
Following the restoration of the site, I changed PHP to 8.0.12 and was able to run a backup and it appeared in the bucket on Amazon S3.
Attached is a screenshot of the PHP 8.0.12 settings. Is there any PHP module which is NOT enabled, which is required to be able to import from Amazon S3?
Thanks
Nicola
