On google drive I shared the archive with the following parameters:
On- Public on the web, anyone on the internet can find and access. No sign in required.
Access: Anyone (no sign in required): Can Edit
The URL that is presented has the following form:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/series of numbers letters and characters/view?usp=sharing
For security purposes I did not paste the actual URL which I am happy to provide as needed.
When I place the URL into the import from url dialog box in kickstarter the import seems to happen almost instantly. Restarting kickstarter reveals the archive is not recognized.
It seems the archive was not downloaded. Instead a file with the name "view" is created. The file is 124 KB and the content starts with the following:
<!DOCTYPE html><html><head><meta name="google" content="notranslate"><meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge;"><style>@font-face{font-family:'Roboto';font-style:italic;font-weight:400;src:local('Roboto Italic'),local('Roboto-Italic'),url(//fonts.gstatic.com/s/roboto/v1
and it goes on and on.
Can you suggest why the import from URL is not working for me? Did I share it incorrectly on Google Drive? Is the format of the URL unexpected?
Thanks for your advice.
