I manage a Joomla! site that has also a moodle installation in it
Joomla is installed in the site root and Moodle is installed in a folder /moodle32
Moodle database tables are in the same database used by Joomla!
I use Akeeba Backup to backup my site and I have tre different profiles
1) Joomla & Moodle
2) Joomla only
3) Moodle only

I found an article about Angie for Moodle and I would like to understand if this component may be useful in my situation to manage a moodle restore

Could please explain how to use it?

Salve,

Akeeba Backup è specializzato nel backup di Joomla, per cui l'archivio prodotto ha il suo interno solamente l'installer per Joomla (o nessuno).
Per effettuare il backup e il restore di Moodle è necessario utilizzare Akeeba Solo, in questo modo sarà disponibile anche l'installer per Moodle, altrimenti una volta terminata l'estrazione dovrà procedere con la configurazione manuale del nuovo sito di Moodle.

Ho fatto una prova facendo un backup solo delle cartelle e delle tabelle di moodle e poi restorizzando in un sito diverso mediante kickstart.
La decompressione delle directory va bene ma quando lancia l'installer non lo trova
/kickstart-core-5/installation/index.php
Ora però non so nemmeno come restorizzare le tabelle. Non è solo un problema di configurare manualmente moodle.
E siccome le tabelle sono belle grandi avrei guadagnato un bel po di tempo.
Ha creato una directory SQL che contiene il DB (site.sql) ma non so come restorizzarlo.

Esiste la possibilità di provare come funziona Akeeba Solo?

Esatto, perché l'installer è "cablato" su Joomla.

Akeeba Solo, così come Akeeba Backup ha una versione gratuita e una pro. Può provare la versione gratuita e, nel caso lo trovi interessante, può passare al piano a pagamento in un secondo momento.
