Restoring to findingqualitychildcare.ca, from a development site on another server.
Admintools installed on dev site.

After restore, front end displayed home page properly, menu items gave internal server error. I deleted .htaccess and renamed htaccess.txt. Front end now ok.

Trying to log in to admin area displays as shown in attached screenshot, with this error at bottom. ?secretword setup on admin URL

Fatal error: Class 'FOF30\Container\Container' not found in /home/findingq/public_html/plugins/quickicon/akeebabackup/akeebabackup.php on line 240

Not sure what to do here?

Hello,

please manually disable the Akeeba Backup quickicon plugin by renaming the plugins/quickicon/akeebabackup.
In this way you'll regain access to your site.
Then install Akeeba Backup twice in a row, without uninstalling it. That should do the trick.

Now I don't seem to be able to save changes. Trying to fix a menu item and click on Save - nothing happens....

mhm... it looks like you have an incomplete backup, since the those files are part of Joomla Core.
Can you please try to take another backup?
Did you setup any file/directory exclusion on your backup profile?

Problem was simpler... caching... I had cleared browser and joomla cache, but my host - siteground - also has caching that had to be flushed. All seems ok now.

thanks again. Let's close the ticket!
