Hi,
I'm having issues with restoring my backup on localhost with MAMP.
All works as usual;
akeeba backup site
download with ftp
install local
cleanup

after that I choose frontend or backend,
both change url 'localhost/mysite/' to 'localhost.com/mysite/' ?
I guess this could be caused by admintools which is installed.
How can I make this work, check or fix...

Regards,
Pascal

Hello Pascal,

most likely the problem is caused by your .htaccess file, you should delete it so you can gain access to your site once again.
Since it's an hidden file, you should follow this guide to reveal it, delete it and then revert the default behavior back.
