 Hi!

I been trying to restore this site but keep getting the error (translating from Swedish) “Invalid Database Key”. I have restored many sites before and never seen this issue.

I have searched on google but I can’t find solution. I have emptied my tmp file and also tried to make a new backup. I also tried the checkbox with (translated from Swedish) “Suppress foreign keys”. It doesn’t seem to work.

I have tried this on 2 of my websites both on XAMP and on my webhosting. The location I'm trying to restore it is xamp568, xamp181 and webbhosting has php version 5.6.9. Hope You got all info here.
Thank you in advance.

Regards
Mathias

Hello Mathias,

can you please try to take a backup with the latest dev release?
I suspect your database password contains a special char ($, ", %..) and it's corrupting stored info.
We just fixed it a couple of days ago.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response. It's all working good now it seems but I only have a minor issue regarding the restoration. When I look into the configuration.ini file the path for tmp and log is not correct. I found it the error only cause I was trouble shooting why I couldn't take a backup on another site earlier.
Isn't it suppose to be the right path after restoration?

Regards
Mathias

Which file do you mean?
I suppose you meant configuration.php, right?
It should detect and display you the path while restoring, can you please double check them?
