Hello Michael,

it seems you have a corrupted archive.
Anyway, you were lucky, since the problem is limited to the install engine: you didn't lose any of your data.
In order to correctly extract your site, you have to do the following steps:
  1. Upload your backup archive again
  2. Upload angie-joomla.jpa file. You can find it inside administrator/com_akeeba/assets/installers. If you don't have access to your site, you can grab it from Akeeba Backup installation ZIP: its location in this case is backend/assets/installer.
  3. Run Kickstart and extract your site backup. Do not press the "Run installer" button. Do not close this browser tab.
  4. Open a new browser tab, run Kickstart again and extract angie-joomla.jpa
  5. Now you can click on the button "Run installer"

To avoid this issue occurring again, you should go to Components, Akeeba Backup, Configuration. Make sure ANGIE for Joomla! Sites is selected in the Embedded Restoration Script option, if it was already selected, choose something else, click on Save, when the page reloads change it back to ANGIE for Joomla! Sites, then click on Save & Close.

Thank you for the guidance. Here is what I did to fix. I went to the old site, ran the Configuration Wizard. Once it completed, I created a new backup. That file was used to successfully restore the site to new hosting. Thank you again for your quick response and your help.
