When I click button to run installer, the Angie page that comes up does not render correctly, and is showing all the coding/labels ie. generic_lbl_yes Can you let me know what problem I have to fix? I added picture of screengrab... url is http://test.ctvsh.com/index.php

I really need your PHP version. I believe that the problem is the result of an outdated version of PHP on your server.

I have verified that php is 5.3.3

It is hosted with it freedom ...

I did not add the js files to the root... Could that be it or is it something else going on?

PHP 5.3.3 is actually not supported. You need PHP 5.3.4 or later. Your version of PHP does have a bug in parsing INI files which is exactly why you do not see the labels correctly. However, you can still proceed with the restoration of your site.

That said, PHP 5.3.3 is truly ancient. It was released five years ago and is full of security holes. Not to mention that it's about 20% slower than a modern version (5.4 or 5.5) of PHP. I strongly recommend against using PHP 5.3.3 on a live site unless you want it to be slow (and penalized by search engines) and vulnerable (easier to hack and impossible to effectively protect). Why would you want to do that? Ask your host to enable PHP 5.4 by default on your site. Your restoration will be easier, your site faster and more secure. There are no downsides.
