Due to a flubbed Joomla 3.1.5 to Joomla 3.2 update, I now have only a blank white screen following backend as administrator. Consequently I cannot deploy Restore Points through Akeeba as I cannot see it. Is there a workaround? How can I restore both my .ja archive and my more current restore points using kickstart?

Restore points do not keep a full site backup. If you have taken a full site backup before the failed update you can, of course, restore it. The backup archive will be found in the backup output directory you have defined in Akeeba Backup. By default this is administrator/components/com_akeeba/backup under your site's root. If you move that file to the site's root and upload Kickstart you will be able to restore your site per the instructions of our Quick Start Guide and video tutorials.
