Akeeba Backup version which took the backup: 3.7.10 pro

Description of my issue:
Restoring a backup (with password), forgetting to input password I have back the generic error message I attach.
Well, I didn't remember I used password on backup, So I'm crazy for few hours before to remember it!
A suggestment, please think to have back a specific (not generic) error message that remember it :)
Simply but useful :)
Many Thanks, Emiliano

There is no password reminder as it would nullify the security the. password protection feature adds.

You can disable the password as long as you have access to your site by FTP. After using Kickstart and BEFORE clicking on the "Run the installer" button go to your site by FTP. Find the installation directory and remove the password.php file. Then click on the "Run the installer" button on Kickstart's page to launch ANGIE (the restoration script) which is no longer password protected.

Hi Nicholas,
Sorry for my bad English. I don't mean to have a password reminder!
But simply, if I forgot to input password during restoring, to have back an Error message that remember me to input the password, like for ex. : "you forgot to input password" instead to receive the generic "an error has occurred" !!! ...What error ?!?

Do you understand me ?!?

No, I don't understand. When you enter a bad password it comes back to the password page without an error.

...and when you forget to input the password (my case) you have back "an error has occurred".

I'm suggesting to have back an accurate message like: "you forgot to input password".

I totally forgot to have made backup using password and during error restoration I went crazy and I was afraid for few hours !!! :)
