Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes
Joomla! version: 2.5.11
PHP version: 5.3.3.7
MySQL version: 5.1.66-0
Host: My own VPS
Akeeba Backup version which took the backup: 3.7.7 Pro
Kickstart version used to extract the backup: 3.6.0

Description of my issue:
(first please remove other empty topic, something went wrong)

I have setup my site with a Magento shop. The 2 are beside each other so Magento is not in the Joomla dir, but outside it. If I make an backup (with external dir and database) all is working good no error message displayed. If I place the backup back on my test server to check if its fine all is going as supposed to, again no error message displayed. After going to the site this is working fine. After copying the external files to their dir, the shop is not working.

When I was debugging this I noticed that not all of my database tables are there (only 301 instead of 337). So I did export and import the tables manually and than its all okay.

When I extracted the backup I noticed that the sql is divided in 2 pieces could this be the problem?

TIA

No, the parts of the database dump is irrelevant. Do you get any information about excluded or skipped Magento tables in the backup log file?

Nicholas,

I only see a warning message in the log just before the Magento tables

[130625 13:57:48] PHP WARNING on line 471 in file <root>/administrator/components/com_akeeba/akeeba/drivers/mysql.php:
[130625 13:57:48] mysql_query() expects parameter 2 to be resource, null given

Otherwise I dont see any error message.

Then all tables are being backed up and all tables are being restored.

Nicholas,

Sorry to say but I am almost sure they are not!

After restoration on my local test server, and on my test domain on the live server there are only 301 entries in the database. And Magento its not working, getting a message of missing tables.
If I take a look at the original database it reads 337 entries.

After manually exporting the database from the live site, and manually importing it on my test environments , all is working again and than there are 337 entries in the database....

Is there a way to combine the 2 sql files found in the backup and install it manually so I can check if I get 337 entries that way?

OK, let me ask a different question. Are all 337 entries tables and VIEWs or do you have any FUNCTIONs, TRIGGERs and PROCEDUREs? In the latter case you have to enable the backup of advanced entities in the Database Dump Engine's options as per the documentation.

Do not exactly know what you are talking about.... I am not a msql guru..
But I am off and reading the documentation about this...

Thanks so far for giving me a hint to look at...

I did an local server backup with the setting Dump PROCEDUREs, FUNCTIONs and TRIGGERs enabled, and placed it back on my live test server. But still the same issue, made some screen-shots to let you see it.....

Can you at least provide the CREATE TABLE commands for some of the missing tables and your backup log file? It would take a psychic to look at the numbers 301 and 337 and give you any meaningful response. I am definitely not a psychic.

Would it not be better if a give you access to the site as an admin?

And I know you're not a psychic sorry if I misunderstood some of your requests.

I just need the log file and the CREATE TABLE commands for some of the missing tables.
