Description of my issue:
I have a backup that i have created with Akeeba , i have downloaded the .JPA file on my computer, before i use the kickstart.php i want to exclude a folder before i restore from my computer (Windows 7) . How i can do this ?

Hello Ari,

You cannot do that. You can, however, extract the archive using Kickstart and right before clicking the "Run the installer" button go ahead and remove the folder in question. If you want to remove the folder because with it the extraction fails, there are two alternatives:
- Using the latest release of Kickstart you can use the "Ignore most errors" option to have Kickstart ignore the files it cannot extract; or
- You can use Akeeba eXtract Wizard and have its "Ignore most errors" option turned on to extract your archive locally.
