Mandatory information about my setup:

Have I read the related troubleshooter articles above before posting (which pages?)? https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/kscantextract.html exactly the info about 'troubleshooting on a live server'
Have I searched the tickets before posting? Yes
Have I read the documentation before posting (which pages?)? Yes - all
Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: PHP is 5.3.10-1 suPHP/fastsgi (installed on my request)
MySQL version: (unknown)
Host: http://www.denit.nl/
Akeeba Backup version which took the backup: Akeeba Backup Professional 3.5.2
Kickstart version used to extract the backup: kickstart core 3.5.2

Description of my issue:
I get errors when Kickstart is running:
Can not open to write to: /var/www/vhosts/domainname.nl/httpdocs/cms/installation/README.html
After that I changed the method Kickstart is working to 'use FTP'
I made a dir kicktemp with 777.
Test FTP settings, all working fine. And then running Kickstart.
After about 2 minutes I get an error: (in Dutch...)
Er heeft zich een fout voorgedaan
Kon robots.txt niet uploaden
(There was an error, can not upload robots.txt)

Start again and next error after 1 min:
Er heeft zich een fout voorgedaan
Kon plugins/finder/index.html niet uploaden

Via Filezilla there are no files installed. Yesterday I did it also and then there were some files and 2 dirs.

What can I do to restire my Joomla site?

Please follow the instructions in the Kickstart troubleshooting page. Basically, you'll have to use Kickstart's FTP mode and create a temporayr directory as per these instructions.

This is what I did. I followed the instructions Kickstart troubleshooting page.
After that I get errors. Do I have to start over again and again?

Ugh, this means that your site has mixed ownership and permissions. The easiest way to get out of this situation is to ask your host's help. Ask them to do this:
- Change the ownership of all files and folders to the FTP user
- Give all folders 0755 permissions
- Give all files 0644 permissions
- Give the kicktemp directory 0777 permissions
You can the restore your site using Kickstart's FTP mode. Upon restoration go to your site's Global Configuration an enable Joomla!'s FTP options.
