Questions about Akeeba Ticket system while considering as an option to purchase:

  1. can customers create and replied to tickets by email without creating a Joomla user account?
  2. can customers create and replied to tickets on website without creating a Joomla user account?
  3. what front-end dashboards are available for support managers to view:
    1. status of tickets
    2. support staff available to assign tickets to
    3. number of tickets assigned to each support staff (at present, and by previous time period)
    4. other stats about support staff response to tickets
      1. timeliness of replies
      2. user satisfaction

Thank you for your help.

All tickets belong to a user account. It is possible to allow a user to submit a ticket before they create a user account, using their email address. However, this creates a user account with a random password which is emailed to them, and they have to use that for all their replies. With that in mind:

1) Yes. The creation of a user account is transparent to these users.

2) See explanation at the top of the reply. They can create a ticket without a user account, they cannot reply to it without one. Otherwise anyone could reply to everybody's tickets which would be very confusing.

3.1) That's very vague. Listing tickets by category does that, it shows the status of the ticket next to each ticket. You can also filter them by status.

3.2) The drop-down used to assign a ticket shows you the available users which can be assigned the ticket.

3.3) This is an admin function. You can only do that in the backend.

3.4.1) This is an admin function. You can only do that in the backend.

3.4.2) This is an admin function. You can only do that in the backend.
