Hello Nicolas.

I have installed the Panopticon component and I am trying to add some sites.

When I add the info needed and press the "Save" button I am getting the error "Process step: Unauthenticated access (can I even access the API at all?)"

I have done what I found and it is suggested in the site and the documentation but, no luck.

Can you please advise?

Good morning Dimitri!

Try to access /api on your site. You should get a JSON response with title "Resource not found" and code 404.

If you receive an error, e.g. an HTTP 500 Internal Server Error, it is very likely that one of the plugins on your site break Joomla's API application. Turn on Site Debug in Global Configuration and you will see which plugin is causing that problem. Then, go to its developer and ask him to fix that code. I have written all about it here: https://www.dionysopoulos.me/common-mistakes-writing-joomla-plugins.html

Hello

Yes I do get a JSON response with title "Resource not found" and code 404.

But still doesn’t work. Try it to 3 Joomla sites. 4 & 5 version.
The one of them has only page builder and nothing else.

Have you gone through the very thorough connection troubleshooting?
