Dear Sirs,
we have a support subscription and we would like to add an other subscription to our account, paying for it. Is it possible ?
We need this because we would like to give your support to our customer but the customer is not able to manage the subscription directly, so we would like to manage his subscription adding it to our account. If possible, we would add more subscriptions to our account in future.

As secondary info, is there a discount if we add subscription for our customers ?

Thanks in advance.

I'm afraid that adding more than one subscriptions of the same type on the same user account is not possible. However, you can create multiple accounts on our site, each one having its own subscription information.

You need to first log out from our site, then go to the Subscribe page. Pick the subscription type and start filling in the subscription form. You need to use a username and email address different than the one you are already using on our site. Please remember that the invoice will be issued against the information you provide on this page. Also note that the payment information does not have to be the same as the invoicing information e.g. you can put your client's invoicing information to issue an invoice directly to your client but pay with your credit card or PayPal account.

I hope this information helps! If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to reply to this ticket on our site. We'll be happy to help you!

Thanks for your answer. We have the following problem, our customers do not want to manage the accounts so we will have to do it and it would be really a problem to create an email address for every account. Is there a way to use the same email address for more than one account ?

Thanks in advance.

Reusing the email address is not possible. Every subscription is attached to a Joomla user created for it. Joomla requires a different email address for each user.

You do not have to create a new mailbox for each of your clients. A mail forwarder will work just fine. For example, you can have [email protected] and [email protected] forward the emails to [email protected] or even [email protected].

Also, if you have a GMail account, e.g. [email protected], you can use addresses like example+client1@gmail.com, example+client2@gmail.com etc. They all route the email to the original email address. This also works if you are using Google Apps on your domain.

So my suggestion is to create a simple GMail account and use the +something trick in the email address to create a practically infinite number of unique email addresses which all route to the same GMail inbox.
