It would help if there was a SEARCH area in SUPPORT.
Am I missing it?

I want to find issues for "Couldn't write to the archive file", for instance, or simply "recommended file permissions".

Thanks.

There are two ways to search the support.

Firstly, look to the top right of the page. There is a search area. It's to the right of the logout button, above the message about support provided only in English. The search box there uses a custom Google search to search our site.

The other way to do that is to start a new ticket. While you are typing the title of the ticket our system looks automatically in public tickets and documentation pages and gives you the ten most likely to help you links.

I've included a screen-shot. Search not visible on my Firefox.
There's a large gray area but no input field.

Per my previous reply, the search box there uses a custom Google search to search our site. It is perfectly visible in Firefox as long as you do not block Javascript e.g. with NoScript.

Anyway, here's Firefox without being logged in:

And here's Firefox being logged in:

I took the screenshots on a Mac but I've also tried Firefox on Windows and Linux with the same results. If you see something different then something is wrong with your Firefox. Possibly a Firefox extension screwing up innocent web pages? Try disabling all your Firefox extensions (e.g. by starting FF in safe mode) and reload our site. You'll see what I mean.
