 Hello,

I'd like to use the redirection feature from Admin Tools on a site that is enhanced with Seblod CCK.

Seblod CCK is using it's own router.php.

Will redirections also work with Seblod generated links?

Every Joomla! component with a front-end part uses its own router.php file to provide SEF URLs. We do that, too, in our components with a front-end part, namely Akeeba Subscriptions, Akeeba Ticket System, Akeeba Release System and Akeeba DocImport. This file is only used by Joomla! to handle SEF URLs, it doesn't have anything to do with URL redirection. It is what translates something like index.php?option=com_foobar&view=article&task=view&id=123&Itemid=456 to /recipes/chicken/with-curry.html and vice versa.

Therefore you can use the URL redirection feature with Seblod CCK and any other Joomla! extension with a front-end router.php file. We already do that on our own site to redirect URLs from old versions of our site into the respective current URLs.

Is it possible to upgrade my current subscription level to Essential or do I have to make a new subscription?

You're welcome!

You can upgrade your subscription to Essentials any time you like. Just log in to our site and proceed to purchasing an Essentials subscription. You will be given an automatic discount based on the remaining subscription time you have on your AkeebaBackup subscription. Once you complete your payment your AkeebaBackup subscription will be terminated and a new Essentials subscription will be activated, its expiration being one year since the date of payment.

Please note that after upgrading to Essentials and receiving the email about your Essentials subscription being activated you will need to log out and then log back in to our site to have access to all of the software and support services that come with your upgraded subscription.
