I have been unable to find the last Akeebabackup version that works on J1.5. There was a page with that information. In the historical Admintools versions it stated clearly which was the last J1.5 version, but in the Akeebabackup release notes I have been unable to find which is the last J1.5 version. It would be great you included that information in the version release notes.
Changing topics, if memory serves me, you were willing to change our Essential license for a Deluxe license. I have seen that our subscription is still Essential.
Finally, Some time ago I suggested you allow tickets on weekends. I would clearly state that any tickets filed on weekends will enter the support queue on Wednesdays while tickets filed Monday to Friday would enter the queue immediately. Your reply was that dealing with tickets on weekends would interfere with writing kickass code. Queuing weekend tickets to Wednesdays would in addition allow you to laugh at (not laugh with) silly bastards, like me, that have not got anything better to do on Weekends.
