Akeeba remote backup Fails
The Backup on the backend is OK.

The messaage in the Remote control says:
Access Violation at adress 005361C2 of module 'AkeebaRemoteControl.exe' Read of adress 00000000

With exact the same module i have another backup of another joomla site running. That backup works just fine. Any Idea?

I have already installed version 2.5.0.36. I downloaded the latest and installed it on another PC. It has the same version number.

If you disable the download feature, does that make the AV go away?

I disabled the download feature and the download log after failure option. There's no AV now.

OK, that's what I thought. Double check your FTP settings. Most likely, the FTP directory isn't correct. What gives is that if the FTP options are incorrect and the server replies in an unexpected way when we try to download the file, an AV is thrown by the networking library.

If that doesn't help, you may want to try your luck with the latest release of Akeeba Remote Control 4.0.x which uses a different method of downloading the backup archives.
