I'm using Joomla Pack to move a site from one host to another host. I've installed Core version,
ran backup and want to download the file to my local so I can then use kickstart. When I goto Administer Backup files, there's nothing there for me to download (meaning the backup I just did). What would the problem be? I do get the warning about the Default output directory in use. I was planning on deleting the backup after I download the backup to my local to keep it safe from the script kiddies.

What might this problem be?

EDIT: Is this a hosting issue, these folders within the directories are set to 755? Does this explain the "Directory in use" error and therefore no backup files under Administer Backup Files?

ok, so I changed the directory for the backup file to above the root directory and it is currently backing up files. It must have been with something in the temp directory and permissions, not totally sure.

I think the server quit responding, this is the line under the "Backing up database", "Backing up files" (this is the step that it's on) and then back up finished.

There's no error message but there is that line above that is being displayed.

The Output folder and all it's contents are automatically excluded from the backup. I think you moved your Output folder somewhere that prevented the backup from doing it's thing. That's just a guess, I would have needed to see the log to be sure.

It sounds like the current backup is doing fine.
