Hi Comunity,

I moved from a PC to a MAC and wonder how to install the Joomla Pack Remote Tool onto it.

I read a lot about the wine project. Do I have to install wine beforehand or is there an installfile provided from Joomla Pack directly.

Under the download section I tried the ZIP Version, but it turned out to be a normal .exe package. What am I doing wrong.

There must be a way, because people are posting various questions also having MAC as a platform.

By the way, the version I'm using is 10.6 Snow Leopard.

I don't have any experience with Wine under MAC, but I use it under Linux, so maybe we can get through this.

The Wine package would need to be installed separately before you install Remote. Once Wine is installed, your MAC should recognize the .exe file extension and execute it as a Wine program.
