I have installed a copy of a site onto a new server and have come to the point of installing JoomlaPack on the new domain. When putting in the correct information in the connection parameters area I receive an error: Cannot connect to the database. Please check your connection parameters.
My new host: 'Fat Cow' have entered the exact same info into the connection parameters area and they say they can successfully proceed to the next step but that they are unwilling to help me in setting it up as it's a third party piece of software.
Why can this be that my host can proceed past the conection parameters area and I can't when we are both using the same info to access the database and the same web browser?
Please remember I am a total novice at all this so don't understand complicated lingo and jargon:-)
