Is there a feature in JoomlaPack Remote which can manage the number of backups saved to my computer. I'm imagining a situation where the hard drive will get a bit clogged up with multiple downloading of my site's backups!

NB just like the feature which in JoomlaPack is used to delete old backups when the maximum number in the output folder has been reached, eg 3.

I've noticed the same problem. I'll flag this for Nicholas as a development suggestion. :D

JoomlaPack Remote doesn't keep track of your downloaded backup files yet. I am planning for a long time to rewrite some of the core logic of Remote; when I do, I will consider this feature.

Meanwhile, here's how yours truly works around the problem. I have a designated folder for my sites' backups and a subfolder in there for each site. Every week I search with Windows Explorer search feature for old backups (more than a week old) and send them to trash. If I need to keep a backup file (e.g. a historic version of a site) I put it on another folder I do never delete from.
