Because I have been unable to effect a restore with Kickstart and JPI4 I have been going through the manaual restore procedure.
When I try to import the sql data using phpMyAdmin I get the following error message
"#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''jos_banner` ( `bid` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment, `cid` int(11) NOT NULL' at line 1"
I haven't even got past line 1 of the joomla.sql file. I know absolutely nothing about SQL syntax. The joomla .sql file has been edited for the akb_ to jos_ change only.
Any idea about what might be wrong with the file. The line referred to appears in the file as follows:
