Hello :)

I am glad to use JoomlaPack, and I installed 1 week ago JoomlaPack Remote PC.
For the firsts 15 backups the Backup was quickly done(5 minutes for 45000 kb)
The backup number 16 was very very slow (1 hour for 20% of 45000kb!)

Then I changed the "time to pause between subsequent XML-RPC calls" to 2 seconds: still backup slowly.

What's going on with this backup?

I did a backup via the classic backend (without joomlapack remote, this was done in 20 seconds)

Thank you in advance for your help,

John

Are you using the same profile for the Remote and back end backup?

The 2.4.b1 release had a bug that would slow down the backup substantially, but that would affect both Remote and back end backups. The issue is fixed in 2.4.b2.

Increasing the time between steps would add a delay between each step of the backup. There could be thousands of steps in a complete backup, so this could be a significant time increase. This is a special purpose option for when your host detects JoomlaPack's repetitive activities as a DoS attack, normally this should be zero.

Reset the delay between steps to zero, don't use 2.4.b1, if that doesn't fix the issue, please right click on the backup line in Remote and download the Remote log file. You can zip it and post it here.
