Upgrading is actually as simple as installing. JoomlaPack is making use of the component update feature available in Joomla! 1.5.5 and greater. You just install the new version on top of the old one and the upgrade is complete.
Thanks. I did that for 2 websites. One website that was restored from Joompack, I cannot do that for it.
Latest Joomla version with Joompack 2.3.1
I want to upgrade it to 2.3.2
But I get error
* JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
* JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
* Unable to create destination
Unable to find install package
I tried another module and same problem. But same thing is getting installed in other websites.
So please help me solve it. Now I cannot edit the site as I have spent time on it and so please help me restore these damaged files if any and help me get the job done as soon as possible.
I don't get what you're saying about Kickstart and the log file. Kickstart doesn't produce any log file and restoring your backup log file is not possible; it is part of the output directory which is purposefully excluded from backup to avoid an infinite backup loop (trying to backup the backup file).
What I meant is when I restored the site the joompack.log file which has to be in backup folder was not there. So download failed. Then I maually added that. So please help me get the site back to normal.
The site I am talking about now is
Vidiyal
More over using Joopack Remote I downloaded 1 website successfully. Another is on progress. I will update when it is done.
Please help me asap.
