Then, to make matters worse, NativeTools 2009.4 only downloads the LAST archive split, and not all of them.
Any ideas?

I'm startin' not to like split archives. :( In your JoomlaPack Configuration file, on the Advanced pane, change the chunk size at the very bottom to zero. This gets set when you go into Easy Mode or when your backup fails and you accept the Balanced or Conservative settings.Thanks for the reply!
JP Remote should download all of the parts of the archive, Administer Backups in the back end does not.

It isn't supposed to be this hard.Dale, This was a fresh install of the component - it had never been installed on this particular site in the past. Here's the file name string:
Does your backup file name contain a "."? That would be actually as part of the file name, not between the file name and extension. There was a bug fixed in SVN533 for this.
