Hello,

I was using JoomlaPack today for the first time and when I started the backup I had this problem:

Invalid AJAX Response:Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554Warning: Division by zero in E:\inetpub\vhosts\leiriaforum.com\httpdocs\pt\administrator\components\com_joomlapack\classes\core\domain\pack.php on line 554var res = { 0: 'step', 1: '' }; res;

How can I make JoomlaPack work?

One more thing, please! Because I couldnt backup with joomla pack, I decided to download throught FTP, and then I made the changes that I needed to do, but because they didnt work out, I uploaded again all by FTP but then some files failed to the transferring.

Does anyone know if the files attached with this post are very important for running my website?

Its strange those files failed the transfer, because the website seems to be working fine.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Best Regards,

Helio

What version of JoomlaPack are you using? We had a division by zero error a good while back, but it was limited to SVN code, it was never in the public release.

Generally, there are no unimportant files on your site. Since this is a same server restore, the files would already have been on the server and it is unlikely that they changed, so you should be OK. The most likely reason that they wouldn't upload is the file permissions/ownership. If you change the permission to 777 (all rights for all users) they will probably upload properly.

Nicholas will have to look at the division by zero error (pesky mathematical rules! :D ). I'll flag this for him.

Thanks a lot Dale!

So meanwhile I'm going to install the previous version.

That's the most impossible error I've ever seen. It means that the execution between two close parts of the code took 0 msec (not time at all?!) to complete. This is a part of the internal JoomlaPack timing algorithm which is used to avoid timing out on long file operations. This should never happen. It's impossible to have code execute in zero time, even with a dedicated triple core Phenom X3 @2.4GHz (my test system). My guess is that PHP's timing function called "microtime" returns invalid or no result on your server.

Right now there is no fix, because we couldn't anticipate this. I'll fix it in the next beta release, but it will take a while. In the meantime you can use the previous version.
