Hello,

Please let me know - is it possible to add custom field as a location on map?
I mean the location provided by the ticket creator, e.g. he selects the location on the map and it is saved as a geolocation in the ticket.

Yes, you can.

Akeeba Ticket System 5 supports Joomla custom fields. Joomla custom fields let you implement all sorts of specialised content in your tickets and they can be set up to allow your users to provide input (it's actually a feature Joomla itself provides!). Therefore, all you need is a custom field which allows you to store geolocation information in a way that makes sense for your use case.

In case you missed it, questions about geolocation fields are common enough that I've created a documentation page which answers them. Another alternative to the free of charge plugin I have documented is the Map Field which is part of Advanced Custom Fields by Tassos.gr. This one definitely lets the user pick their location, albeit it is a paid extension.
