Hello,

i have some major problems with ATC:

User problems:

  • any html tag user select from JCE Editor while posting are auto removed when save <strong><em> etc even <p> is removed and converted to br instead.
    i check and config new created for "registered"  profile inside JCE and all are allowed / html validation set to off but site is still removing formating this is strange.
    Looks like ATC have something with this.

 

Staff problems:

  • while staff using backend and try to reply to ticket using JCE editor can use html tags and all works fine - until try to place iframe YouTube link which is also removed.
    Staff cannon post Videos inside reply which is also auto removed. Inside option of JCE all iframe are allowed / media video are allowed.

Site respond on editior config options but by pass those two problems. I dont understand how some option work fine while other two ATC just auto remove.
Where i can set this to work? where to allow iframes in ATC reply and stop removing html tags from user reply.

Hello,

Akeeba Ticket System simply uses the default editor to display the data and uses Joomla text filters to strip out any unwanted tags.

In order to allow more HTML tags, please get inside Joomla Global Configuration and change the filters for the user groups belonging to the User and the Staff. That will fix your issue.

Thanks that solved problem nr1.

What about YouTube video staff is trying to place.
After they save reply with video all reply is auto remove like not saved.

Did you change Joomla Text filters for "regular" users, too? Can you please attach a screenshot of it?
