We have ATS set-up (with delete after post creation on) to monitor one mailbox. We often receive email to another mail-box and hence drag and drop relevant email to the monitored mailbox to allow the cron job to carry out processing.

For the most part this has been working but I've noticed that if I move an email that is 2 or more days old to the monitored mailbox, it is not processed.

This morning I moved several emails from Friday and Saturday across and they are still there. As a test I sent an email and moved it to the monitored mailbox. It was successfully processed.

Is this perhaps a bug with the version of ATS we are using?

Hello Mike,

that's the correct behavior.
In order to avoid double processing emails when you are not deleting them, we are fetching only the latest email since the last check.
This means that if you move an older email, it won't be processed.
The correct solution is to send the emails to the correct address, or to setup a forwarder to the "old" email address.

Thanks for that. Makes sense to me.

You mentioned only fetching the latest email but does that mean email received on the same day or is it something longer, e.g. up to 48 hours old?

The latest email since the previous check.
This means that if you check for new messages every 5 min, it will get all the emails arrived in the latest 5 mins.

Hallo Davide, is it possible to have a 2nd login for our account? I ask because I have a colleague, Dale, who is also working on the system so when he raises tickets they could come from him / and reply to his email? (In reality, he has created this ticket and not me)
