We've been using ATS Pro 1.6.1 for some time now. When I'm in the ATS backend > Version Information > and clicking on "Reload Update Information"... we receive two informational alerts that kindof contradict themselves. The first is a Warning Alert that says:
Warning
Update: Could not open update site #11 "Akeeba Ticket System Professional", URL: http://cdn.akeebabackup.com/updates/ats.xml
Then directly underneath the Warning alert we have a green info/message alert that says:
Message
The update information has been reloaded from the server
...and we're never alerted to the fact that there's a newer stable version of ATS. Yet, ATS Pro as well as Admin Tools Pro and Akeeba Backup Pro are listed/checked in the backend Extension > Update Sites area. I receive update alerts for both Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup without issue.
When I'm logged into my Akeeba account (on your website) I noticed that ATS Pro.(stable) version is at 2.0, and I meet all the requirements.
So my questions are:
1> Can we simply download the latest version of ATS Pro 2.0 and install over the top of ATS Pro 1.6.1 without causing problems?
2> ATS seems to be the only extension that never alerts us to the fact that there's a newer version available. In the ATS backend "Options" > "Updates" tab, I have all the relevant information supplied correctly. So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong... if anything. Is there anything I can do to ensure checks are being made back to Akeeba to see if newer releases are available? <<< I receive update info in Joomla everytime there's an update to Admin Tools or Akeeba Backup... yet none for ATS Pro???
Thanks for your guidance.
