 I would like to have a counter (like in the Module Tickets Info) which shows: all Open / all in Progress / all Closed Tickets to the Support staff in the Frontend end. Is this possible somehow (by altering the module for example)?

I think you might be able to do that by forking (copying) the module. Then you need to edit the main .php file of the module. Inside it you'll see the code

$ticketsModel = F0FModel::getTmpInstance('Tickets', 'AtsModel', array('input' => array()));
$ticketsModel
	->mytickets(1)
	->enabled(1);

Just remove the
->mytickets(1)
line to have the module report all tickets.

You might also want to change the URL around line 100 from index.php?option=com_ats&view=mies to index.php?option=com_ats&view=latest to show all open tickets.
