i am also trying to figure out how to assign a ticket. i created my groups and assigned users to the groups and set permissions on the category and the component settings. i don't see an option to assign a ticket to someone and when i click on assigned tickets and ticket buckets i get a blank page.probably because these are not assigned but i don't see how to do that.
i am trying to find these options from the front end login, as an admin who is also assigned in my tech support category. I created a menu item for latest tickets and i see none of the expected options.
I checked the user manual and i am not sure what i missed.

Did something not install correctly and this is the issue? i did try to reinstall. It seems to work well otherwise but these are some key features that i just can't find.
