Hi!

Using ATS 1.2.3 (but the problem was present in ATS 1.2.2 as well) for every new ticket created I find an entry of this kind in my /error_log:

PHP Warning: Missing argument 1 for AtsModelTickets::isValid(), called in /home/mysite/public_html/components/com_ats/controllers/newtickets.php on line 161 and defined in /home/mysite/public_html/administrator/components/com_ats/models/tickets.php on line 513

Thanks!

Hi Davide,

you're welcome!

Do you plan a new release with this bug fixed? If not, can you please share a diff file so that I can apply the patch to my live installation?

Thanks!

Sorry Nicholas, but the latest dev release I see for ATS (we are talking about ATS here...) is 72c4abd which precedes by a handful of hours the latest stable release (1.2.3) I'm using and for which I'm reporting this problem.

If you are referring to the latest Akeebasubs dev release (0029685) which have indeed released yesterday, please note that it gives an error at install time:
JInstaller: :Install: File does not exist /home/mysite/public_html/tmp/install_5237a41131b8a/plugins/akpayment/sagepay/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_akpayment_sagepay.ini

Totally unrelated and O.T., but I had problems with Akeeba Backup too. I'm not sure if there has been any mistake on my part (can be...), but yesterday afternoon using it to restore my development site to the production site (on line at last!) I found all my files correctly restored but the Joomla data base was at least partly corrupt (for sure the "output" part of some custom html modules) and I had to use a MySQL export/import to correctly restore it to the new site. Please take this with due uncertainty as I've not yet performed more thorough tests and I don't want to disseminate FUD. If this can matter the backup was performed to and restored from an Amazon S3 bucket.

I am talking about ATS. The latest dev release at the time of this writing is 78e2b21which is released on Monday, 16 September 2013 11:14.

Regarding Akeeba Subscriptions' dev release, yes, I am aware of that. Nothing to worry about. We're testing a new payment plugin.

Regarding Akeeba Backup, it's not related to the backup or restoration process. Kindly read our documentation on the subject: https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/troubleshooter/prbasicts.html

1) ATS: oops, now I see it! At first I missed it because I expected the latest dev release to be the topmost one (I could have sworn I've always seen this being the case), but apparently this was a false assumption. I'll let you know later if that rev fixes the issue I'm reporting with this ticket.

2) Akeeba subs: no problem, I was just willing to be sure that you are aware of the behavior

3) Akeeba Backup: I've read the doc but I'm afraid I'm missing the relevant part that can explain what happened in my case (corrupted custom HTML modules content). Not enough memory? Without any warning issued? Anyway, for the time being, please don't worry about it: I'll re-read the docs, make more thorough tests and if the problem persist I'll open an ad-hoc ticket.

1) I can confirm that the issue at hand with ATS is solved by this dev release (78e2b21)

2) I performed a "reverse backup-restore" (from my live site to my dev site) with Akeeba Backup 3.8.1 and apparently everything went fine. Only thing I changed is that I extended the DB restore maximum execution time from 5 to 15 seconds. Either it was this or I made some other mistake the first time of which I'm not aware.

I leave the ticket open in case you have anything to comment, otherwise you can freely close it.

Thanks!

Sergio
