EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 10MiB, please upload it on your server and post a link to it. --- Reinstall - no log file exists!

I couldn't update an ancient Akeeba Solo installation. So I simply installed the latest 8.0.6 over it.
But as soon as I click "Install" in Kickstart, I get the error: "The requested URL was not found on this server."
The URL in question is: http://akeebasolo2.fleritsch.de/installation/index.php.
This directory is not created at all, and when I look in the ZIP package, it doesn't contain an installation directory either.

What should I do?

Hello,

I just read it. The only difference: I uploaded the whole installation package as a ZIP file and then unzipped it on the server using Kickstart.

Does it matter?

Yes. You should unpack it locally and then upload it. Kickstart is used only to restore backup archives.
