hi,

I've closed ticket #40771 too quickly !

Again, this morning the backup has failed after successfulling remote FTP postprocess 389 files over the 416 expected.

Here under the akeeba log :

[20240606 05:38:03] Failed to process file site-5-www.xxxxxxxxxx.com-20240606-041201utc-rv5Ib-psnlzZvbQb.j390
[20240606 05:38:03] Error received from the post-processing engine:
[20240606 05:38:03] Could not create the subdirectory Sauvegardes_data in the remote FTP server
[20240606 05:38:03] Failed to process backup archive file site-5-www.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-20240606-041201utc-rv5Ib-psnlzZvbQb.j390
[20240606 05:38:03] Failed Smart algorithm on Akeeba\Engine\Core\Domain\Pack

You'll find the remote server log attached. As you can see everything is ok for the first 389 parts. But for the #390 item, by the end of the log, instead of issuing a CWD command to the remote ftp, he is doing a MKD (make directory) command :

[2024 Jun 6 07:38:13] ([email protected]) [DEBUG] Command [mkd] [/.]

As the directory already exists, the server answer with an error which halts the backup.

The very last lines are my connection on the remote server from my desktop computer to verify the backup (different IP).

So, for some reason, your software decides to issue a MKD command rather than a CWD one. We should understand why.

Thanks for your help.
