Hi,

I am trying several times to update Akeeba Solo Pro 8.2.1 to last version and I am getting this error:

An error occurred while installing the update package
Could not open /home/.../Solo/.htaccess for writing.

But, the file is there! content of file is empty. Size from 16Kb now is 0 kb.
Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance
Regards

PD: Can I make a manual update?

Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Hello,

yes, you can manually update, as described here: https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/akeeba-solo/updating.html

Most likely that file has some different permissions, so overwriting it is not allowed.
