Hello,

can you please double check your Amazon S3 credentials, as well as the bucket name? Looking at the error, the problem comes from a permission denied error.

Thank you for your response. That problem is solved.

Your software is working very well if I am starting it from the button Backup now. Then the splitted files are going to be uploaded to my ftp-folder and than in my amazon s3 cloud.

For automating this job I have made a cron job on cronjob.de. With starting the cron job from there the job is stopping after a short time. The support from cronjob.de told me:

so your cron job is retrieved for about 45 seconds (rather a bit longer). Unfortunately, that's all there is to it. With the ignore_user_abort command, however, this should still run on your server.

Do you have any idea how I can solve this problem?

Best regards

Thank You!

Hello,

in this case, you have to change the method to invoke the automatic backup. You should take a look at WebCRON.org and check out which timeout works best for you.

As a cheap alternative, you can have your own PC triggering backups, even a small Raspberry Pi will do the trick.
