Hi,

I have been running Akeeba Solo successfully for one site, but since a couple of weeks, it's having issues transferring the files to Azure.

I have accessed to the manage backups area and in release 7.6.0 and also after updating to 7.7.0 when I click the button Transfer Archive (Azure) I get the following error message:

Error: Class "Akeeba\Engine\Postproc\Connector\Azure\Blob\Instance" not found

I think the problem is not related to the post-backup send to Azure process so I also link the log for the latest backup which was not transferred to Azure

The log file for my last backup is here (taken when still in 7.6.0):

Any idea on how to fix both issues?

Hello,

both Nicholas and I we tried to upload the archives to Azure and everything seems to be working fine.

Can you please try to reinstall Akeeba Backup? You can manually upload the package to be extra sure that every file is correctly copied.

Hi Davide,

Thank you very much for your reply!!

I have sshed into my server, donwloaded the file (latest pro version of Solo with dlid in the URL) and unzipped in the proper folder overriding previous files, and the issue is still there.

Any ideas?

Best!!

This indeed happens when you disable multipart uploading in the connector, or if the file is very small (under the chunk size). Can you please try to re-enable multipart uploading and let me know if it now uploads correctly? If you have not disabled multipart uploading, how small is the file you are trying to upload?

Hi Nicholas

do you mean the Enable chunk upload option in Azure conf? It's enabled with a Chnk size of 20 MB.

Happy to send you my profile json file if attachments remain secret in the ticket ;)

Yup, I mean that. Make sure it's enabled.

Since your chunk size is 20MiB, is it a file under that size when the transfer fails? I want to make sure that you are experiencing the same bug I caught yesterday (by using a different profile which had a sufficiently small file to trigger it...).

Hi Nicholas,

that setting is enabled.

From today's backup attempt, I see that only the .jpa file (part 0) was uploaded, and it has a size of 17 MB. The other parts are around 50 MB.

I have changed chunk size from 20 MB to 10 MB, hoping that tomorrow's backup is uploaded correctly.

Please let me know if it works. If not, I will make a dev release for you with the change I made.

Hi Nicholas,

the change did not work. Last night only the jpa and j01 files were uploaded to Azure. :/

Try this dev release:       Version 7.7.1-dev202209021553-rev42530d33

I believe it will address your issue. If not, please attach a ZIP file of your log.

Hi Nicholas,

sorry for the delay, but my third child was born a couple of weeks ago and the paperwork is horrible...

I have tried downloading the file but it gives me a 404. Can you please provide a different link?

I have found this link: https://www.akeeba.com/download/solo-core-dev/7-7-1-dev202209021553-rev42530d33.html but it's for core version and I'm using Pro.

Thank you very much!!

I have just installed the new version and I have executed the backup througth CLI and I got this warning:

Warnings : POTENTIAL PROBLEMS DETECTED; 4 warnings issued (see below).
Failed to process file /backups/site-store.domain.com-20220913-103642cest-GvikY6z5pt5x1tKw.j01
Error received from the post-processing engine:
No data provided for the BLOB block.
Post-processing interrupted -- no more files will be transferred

I have "tweaked" the domain in the filename for privacy.

The .jpa file is uploaded to Azure with no issues.

Best

I have tried that on my local server with single and multipart archives, and different options to have all parts upload chunked, only one part upload chunked and all parts upload non-chunked. I have not been able to reproduce this issue.

Can you try again? I am wondering if it was a temporary fluke because of a network issue.

If this keeps happening consistently please ZIP and attach the new log file so I can take a look at it.
