I updated to Akeeba Solo Professional 7.0.0 recently with no issues. Now I wanted to update to 7.0.1 but Akeeba returns the error message
"There is a new version available, but it requires a newer version of PHP than the one you have. As a result it will not be installed."
I already tried to switch back to PHP 7.2 and 7.1 in my Hoster's admin control panel (because I was assuming that my PHP Version could have been "too new", according to an older support request over here), but no success either.
Is this a known issue? I am asking, because I am thinking about how to proceed: Can I update Akeeba Solo manually (by uploading all files via FTP) without the danger of breaking anything (and will this solve my problem)? Or can I simply lean back and wait for 7.0.2? As always-thanks a lot for your support in advance!
Kind regards,
Thomas
