I have switched from http to https ulsing htaccess in two sites and i've been unable to login to SOLO due to an invalid security token error. The only way I've been able to solve it is renaming config.inc.php and reentering the backup code. This occurs with older versions of SOLO so I'm unaware if it still occurs

Thank you

Hello,

yes, that's correct.
The full URL is used to create the secret token, so switching from HTTP to HTTPS will produce the error you reported.
The only solution is to re-configure Akeeba Solo, so the secret token will be correctly generated.

Is there a way to make it work without renaming config.inc and doing a partial reinstall?

Can we directly edit config.inc.php?

If you edit the variable live_site by adding the right protocol, I think it should work.
