#23330 Backup datetime doesn't show in correctly timezone

Hi! I changed the timezone to Sydney but seems like it always displays UTC time, so the backup date may not be correct, due to different timezome.
Can you please check it? Thank you!

There are two possible reasons for that, assuming you are talking about the Manage Backups page.

1. Backups taken through a CRON job (using the CLI scripts), front-end or remote backups will always have their backup time set to GMT.

2. The backup time in the Description of the backup is always set when the backup is taken and stored as static text. Therefore changing the timezone will NOT change the (static plain text) descriptions of existing backups.

Considering that the default format of the Start column (which displays the backup start date and time) does not include the time by default I think that #2 is the most likely cause of your confusion.

Hi Nicolas, thank you! You're right, I'm using cron job to back up, so there's no way we can use local time on this case ?

Unfortunately not. Sorry :( The results we were getting from CRON jobs varied so wildly we decided to just scrap any attempt at time zone manipulation in CLI mode.
