Hi there

I have a Joomla! 2.5.28 website that has a Virtuemart 2.0.24c version installed. I installed it on my server in a sub folder http://scottwebdesigns.co.za/habiba/ and completed the project. I then made a backup and restored it to the same server on the clients domain name http://habibiasoofiebooks.co.za.

Everything seems to work except for the email facility on the live install of the website. When I place an order through virtuemart on the www.scottwebdesigns.co.za/habiba I get all order emails with no problem. When I try place an order on the live site http://habibiasoofiebooks.co.za then no emails seem to come through.

If you have anything that can point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

Hello Scott,

Unfortunately your current subscription level (ADMINTOOLS) does not give you access to support for backup restoration. Depending on which software you used to take a backup you need one of the following subscriptions:
  • AKEEBABACKUP if you used Akeeba Backup for Joomla!
  • BACKUPWP if you used Akeeba Backup for WordPress
  • SOLOPHP if you are using Akeeba Solo; actually, you need this subscription to even use this software which means that your ticket is definitely in the wrong category.

Finally, once you get the correct subscription, please file your ticket in the Site Restoration category.
